This is a super kawaii prezzie from my buddy Yukester! She *totally* understands my crazy addiction and my taste! I did not even tell her how cute I thought Kitty-chan dressed in sequins were! @___@

I do not want to get her dirty but I am really thinking about attaching her to a bag or my iPhone… I think I would get a lot of compliments with Kitty-chan! =n_n=

I posted a blog about Hello Kitty Board Games a couple of weeks ago… I am very happy to report that I can take this over to Kandice’s place and play a game with her and Kelly… And a few of my new Sanrio 50th Anniversary plush pals by Jakks Pacific (found at Target)! But before I play, I need to study up on strategy… n_~

I had to open it and look at all the cuteness in full! @___@

I will read the directions for the speed play rules… Because as a child, I always thought Monopoly took forever to play… In fact, I don’t even know if I ever won a game…

I know a few Junkies who already got their Hello Kitty x Monopoly… If you have not yet, check out Hammster’s comparison between Hello Kitty and Star Wars Monopoly games… And make sure to grab yours soon… This is kind of a hot ticket item and I remember it was sold out pretty fast on Sanrio.com *it has been re-stocked now*… o___O You can also order Hello Kitty x Monopoly from Amazon… And I have not seen it in stores yet, but my guess is Toys R Us may carry these limited edition board games!

Thank you Usaopoly for doing such an amazing job on this game! It is classic, kawaii and a definite *must have* item for Hello Kitty Junkies like me! *Fact* but you already know since it’s in the description of this game! n___n

I *wonder*… If this game does well, would it be possible to create Hello Kitty x CLUE (another childhood favorite of mine)? Or maybe even Hello Kitty x RISK (I was a YMCA summer kid so I remember learning how to play this game)? <– Might be too violent tho… But what about Hello Kitty x LIFE!? Hmmm… *___*

Here are pix of my super awesome Loungefly deals from the Summer Sample Sale! @___@ Every item was at an incredible discount!!! *I calculated the tote bags to be 85% off* from retail price… I am not sure you could get such a good deal unless you were able to attend Sample Sales like this one…

One of my immediate *fave* things I took home with me was this Hello Kitty Waffle Key Cap! Kawaii, neh? I already started using it!

I was lucky to get these other key caps too! You might be wondering why I need so many key caps? I ended up sharing with my Mom and my sister *Banana*… If you are looking for them, the black packaged key caps might still be available at Claire’s… And the super adorable Hello Kitty Nerd Key Cap is currently available at Hot Topic…

Loungefly x Hello Kitty Nerd Coin Bag! -@-@-

The only thing wrong with this was the material on her glasses was peeling… And the canvas was a little dirty… But you know I still *adore* Kitty-chan lookin’ all nerdy with her glasses! n___n

I already have a Pink Shade Coin Bag… But I could not resist getting one in Purple!

I did not notice anything different until I went home and compared it to my other coin bag… I realized there is black embroidery missing between the lenses and the frame…

Loungefly x Hostess Twinkies Coin Bag… Looks like a real Twinkie! (is Twinkie the singular form for Twinkies? Or is it still Twinkies for the singular form?) Yummy! ;P

I know this is a coin bag, but I would most likely use it as a pouch… To carry pens, lip gloss, usb flash drive… Things I might take to work… Really love the hearts and shiny material on the inside…

Now, for the totes! When Jordan and I first started looking through the sample sale items, we did not see any of the tote bags. It was not until we had ordered breakfast from the Buttermilk Truck that Loungefly decided to put out tote bags… Good thing we stuck around, huh!? n_~

Hello Kitty x Loungefly Love Letter Tote Bag… Not sure if this was a final production bag since I have seen this in person and some of the materials felt diffent, i.e. the red appliques was a felt-like material on here…

Loungefly x Hello Kitty Nerd Tote Bag vs Loungefly x Hello Kitty Nerd Face Tote Bag… I believe everybody *L-O-V-E-S* these… Especially the face! *___* Even my non Hello Kitty friends thought it was cute… They even said things like, “I wish I would have given you money so you could get me something.” But you know what!? I think a lot of people would have HATED me if they saw me with ALL the Nerd tote bags! o___O

Both are some of my *faves* from the event… Both canvas bags are practical for everyday use… And they are super kawaii, no?

Back detail… Notice the sublte difference in paper line spacing…

There is also a difference in the dark denim trim, stitching and straps. There is also the red flannel piping? on the face tote bag…

And the inside materials are different too… Which do you like better?

The only thing I noticed about the face tote bag was that the inside printing of the pattern got kind of messed up… But that is not an issue when you get 85% off of a new item…

This was a long post… I still have more to share so keep an eye for for Part 3! And if you missed the event, don’t worry. Loungefly had a sample sale in winter 2009 — we can always keep our fingers crossed that there will be another sample sale this winter! n_~

I have known about Sample Sales for at least a decade now *pretty common in the LA area*… But this was my very first time ever attending one! And *OH BOY*!!! Did my arms hurt from carrying sooooo many kawaii merch back to my car! n_~ It was definitely worth waking up early in the morning for! I was super anxious… Like I was going to my Bday party or something! @___@

I planned on being at the Loungefly Warehouse at 9:00 am sharp… But as you know, I like to sleep *oopsie* so I showed up around 9:30 am. What a mistake! o___O Jordan already did most of her shopping! And I saw Ruth with two boxes filled with Hello Kitty x Loungefly merch! She even told me that her sister Nancy put a box in the car AND ran to get more cash… *Lesson I have learned way too many times: Early bird does get the worm.*

Definitely a great crowd! Everyone was actually nice or maybe I was too overwhelmed to see anyone fighting over anything? I would even ask people to please let me know if they saw any Hello Kitty stuff while everyone was digging in the boxes… Lucky for me, I had my fellow Junkies, Jordan, Jenna, Ruth and Tanya lookin’ out for me! And the music was dooope! Almost like I was at a party. n___n

I posted a couple of pix on facebook to share in real time and I found out your fb friends love to comment when you are busy shopping. n_~ I tried really hard to take pix of things while I was looking… *Sorry* waaaay too difficult! I had to have the full experience of exploring and finding my stuff, you know? But when I felt like I had searched high and low for all things Hello Kitty x Loungefly, I did snap a few more… This is what my pile looked like before I got a box to put them in…

After we were *kinda* finished shopping, Jordan and I ordered the Hawaiian Bread Cinnamon French Toast Sticks and Housemade Cake Donuts from the Buttermilk Truck… But since I was only *kinda* finished, I went back for more! @___@ You know I cannot resist a sale on Kitty-chan stuff, so I *HAD TO* make sure I did not miss anything! n_~

Purrr-fect timing! There were new Hello Kitty x Loungefly totes that had been put out!!! Can you believe the Hello Kitty Love Letter tote was only $10!? Jenna is a good shopper — she spotted some majorly kawaii tote bags… She was nice enough to eye which ones I would want and save a few of each designs so we can go through and inspect them! n___n

So… I ended up grabbing a couple a few several *A LOT* of tote bags… And that was enough… For now. n_~
