Sanrio Bento Book

I was at Kinokuniya yesterday picking up my latest Gotochi Kitty book when I scanned the Japanese cooking/food section and came across this book! Needless to say, I flipped through every single one of the pages (and lucky for me I brought my digicam):

I think I just adore all the cute details — like the design in the slice of cheese…

This one looked like the most do-able for me, hehe…

I may have to search for “Hello Kitty food” on Jlist… You know, for stencils and molds and kawaii stuff.

those are all soo cute! I love bento. I try to make pretty ones like these, but they always come out a little wonky. O_o

bentos…a fav in hawaii….i just love how Hello Kitty actually comes out to life – imagine how long it took for the person to prepare – the details and colors!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Hi, the My Melody is rice mixed with sakura denbu. not colourings. Hope that helps.
