Hello Kitty Junkie

Empire Interactive and Hello Kitty Junkie are looking for the best “Kitty in the City” videos. Fans should create and submit (E-rated) videos featuring Hello Kitty in the city (i.e. Kitty hailing a cab, getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, visiting Times Square, attending a fashion show, winning an award)… And you’re only limited by your imagination. You could use stuffed animals, figurines, drawings, costumes, animation, stop-motion… Pretty much anything you can dream up and capture on film will be accepted, except in-game footage.

In the game, Kitty works to move up to a penthouse apartment.

Three winners will be chosen and each winner will receive their very own copy of Hello Kitty: Big City Dreams for the Nintendo DS™ and some Sanrio swag! And because Empire Interactive is so awesome, if there are at least 100 video entries, the grand prize winner will receive a Nintendo DS™ as an added bonus!

You can make your video however you like — using Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, iPhoto… Or any one of the free online photo/video editing tools — Photobucket, Slide, Jumpcut…

Upload your videos via YouTube and add them to “A Day in the Life of Kitty in the City” Fan Video Contest. Limit three entries per contestant.

This contest is open to everybody around the world!

Contest deadline is Friday, December 19, 2008. Winners will be announced the following Monday, December 22, 2008!
