Have you seen the Hello Kitty Star collection yet? I was at the Sanrio shop inside the Topanga Shopping Center over the weekend and saw lots of kawaii things (as usual)…
And after I picked up the Hello Kitty Star plushies — available in pink, black and beige — I could not leave the store without at least one! o_O I want all three but at $15 each, I decided one was good for me… At least for now. ^_~
So I got a pink one for me!
And one more for a friend overseas… Cannot say here because it is a surprise! ^_~

Oh, I really like how her feet are pink and violet!
So in a way, I am using a pink plushie a as friendship plushie (as opposed to a friendship bracelet) — you know, when you give something you really love to your buddy because you know she will just adore it! And it signifies your friendship through the mutual love of Kitty-chan! I know it sounds very cheese-y, but I think the concept is so sweet and I hope she is happily surprised! ^_^

i love it! i like that you posted the star detail on the back. i really want the pink one (all of them really, but if i had to choose) but i don’t think i can afford it this month. i did get the Star organizer and compact mirror though! i can justify those as something i really need though.
i wish we had a Sanrio surprises here! the closest is an hour away!

That is so sweet of you! I have the black version on its way to me in the mail, but i do like the other two aswell. The Star Collection is great! I think the reason i like it so much is because it reminds me of Jem from the 80s cartoon… and i love the 80s!

How cute, sort of 80s retro! I’ll never forgive the Brea Mall in Orange County for tearing down the Sanrio store. I’d been going there since the 80s and they replaced it w/ an earring store >:(
