Hello Kitty Junkie

I have been super busy and really tired lately… I thought I was going to get a little break so I can catch up on a few blog posts, but that’s a negative… o_O I took photos of some very sweet 35th anniversary items which are available during the Three Apples event in Royal/T‘s Pop-up shop! These are goodies I got in my gift bag from the VIP party… I know, I KNOW! SoOoOoOo extremely lucky, right!? Seriously, I could not believe it either!!! I was very hesitant to post what I got because I am pretty sure I got spoiled. o_O But I feel like I need to share my full experience with my fellow Hello Kitty Junkies! I am very grateful to the Sanrio peeps! And I am in *L-O-V-E* with each and every thing that was inside this kittilicious gift bag! It is almost as if they packed it just for me! Yes, I do realize I am not that special… But it is always nice to pretend that my Hello Kitty world revolves solely around me! n_n

Hello Kitty Limited Edition Reversible Tote Bag: Deluxe… I did not even notice how kawaii this bag was until I went home and turned it inside out! Both designs rock! And you know what else I love? The material actually feels very sturdy — so no need to worry if I have some heavy things to carry!

Look at all the cuteness that was inside the tote! I cannot even pick out what my top three *fave* things are! @_@

I love sweets and I can never have too many Kitty Pez dispensers! I want to bling this one out like Christian’s (if I have time)…

Hello Kitty wallet…

The inside came with a $25 gift card to Target, which is purrr-fect since I heard from a few Junkies that Target has some new Hello Kitty dollar bin items! *_*

I adore my Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary bobble head! This is definitely a *must-have* item for me!

Back detail… I think it is incredible that Hello Kitty weighs only three apples! I wonder if those are the apples that she is weighed by!? n_n

One of the most kawaii things ever has to be this über kawaii (yes, I now have to specify different levels of kawaii-ness) 35th Anniversary mini compact mirror in a special velvet-like cloth thingy… *sorry, you know I have a limited vocabulary* o_O

This die-cut mini compact mirror is probably a good size for the Hello Kitty Pullip doll, although I did spy someone rockin’ this as a bracelet! Anybody know what the intended purpose is? Besides being cute. n_~

I was really excited to see a Hello Kitty figure to add to my plastic figure collections — look here and here! @_@

Yay for Strawberry Newsletter! The November issue is awesome and I am pretty sure I do not have to tell you why! n_~

I was really glad to get my hands on the Three Apples art book! A significant portion of this event deals with Art, which is one of Kitty-chan’s favorite subjects… And this is kinda like my Three Apples yearbook I will get to lug around during the event… You know, to get the artists to sign/draw pictures/doodles… Yuko Yamaguchi (Kitty Mama) signed the cover for me during the Super Fan Day!

If you are able to, I recommend that you:  1.) Get this book;  2.) Read the introduction by Jamie of JapanLA aka the Three Apples curator — she is so awesome! She is working 24/7 non-stop so that this art exhibit will be a success! I wanna be like *Jamie* n_n

My latest schoolgirl crush is on Buff Monster… I can tell you details later… n_~

And Misha is Misha-tastic! I am so happy I got to meet her… And even happier that she was way more cooler than I could ever expect! n_n

One of my favorite pages from the art book is a collage of vintage Kitty items — particularly the wrist watch and the calculator (*oopsie* it is cut off)… They both conjure up childhood memories… And you know how I looove me some nostalgia! n_~

But I think THE BEST and MOST UNEXPECTED thing ever is the shout out toward the end of the book! Jamie casually asked me, “Hey, did you see that you are mentioned?” I was a little confused… I thought maybe she meant Sanrio thanked all the fans, afterall, this event is a special treat for all us super fans… But I asked, “Who? Me? Are you sure!?!?!?” *annoying happy squeal of excitement* Awww! :’) You have no idea how happy my heart is! I am thanked in the Three Apples art book! @_@ Me >>> “Maria at Hello Kitty Junkie” <<< Meee!!! I have officially been recognized in print! Waaaaaaa! :’) Happy tears, of course!

I pretty much keep my eyes glued to official Three Apples site — there are always new updates! I also check the Hello Kitty’s 35th items just in case new merchandise is available! *No joke* You would think I was C-R-A-Z-Y if you saw my browser’s history! @_@
