Hello Taiwan

I am in Taiwan! After a super long 15 hour flight (and yup, I had to walk around with a barf bag)… I made it to Taipei! I am not usually the type to get sick on flights, but I must have had something bad in my system from the previous night. o_O

My travel essentials include a Hello Kitty traveling buddy, passport and passport holder, of course!

I felt very sick during most of the flight — the one thing that saved me was soda water! It does not taste good — AT ALL — but it certainly calmed my stomach down! I am feeling 100% better now and I’m sure I will enjoy my stay in Taiwan! n_n

While I am visiting Taiwan *hanging out with Amandabot and her fam bam* I plan on seeing some Hello Kitty related things too. Here is my list:

If I make it to three out of six places on my list, I will be pretty happy! n_n Anyone have any recommendations for me?

Eee…ohh how lucky!! I'm soo envious of you.
If I had the chance to go to Taiwan, I will definitely go to Hello Kitty Sweets cafe
because I've always wanted to buy the Sweet cafe plush there and try the food.

you own a japanese passport O_o? how did you manage that? it's one of the hardest passport to get (after Nordkorea)

ahh you're in taiwan i am so jealous! and you have a japanese passport?! kewl!
i think the sanrio gate in the taipei airport might be closed, since the hello kitty plane is no longer in operation! im not sure, but i would assume so.
and if you make it to taoyuan or kaohsiung there are two unofficial hello kitty restaurants! i can give you the addresses if you are heading over there! there is also a hello kitty ferris wheel and play area on top of the Dream Mall in kaohsiung! Supercute!!!

I miss Taiwan so much! I can't wait to take my family there for a visit of my home town. You carry a Japanese passport… But it took 16hrs? Just curious… I'm glad you at least got to go 1/2 of the places on your list! Happy Holidays!! ^.^
