Hello Kitty’s Face On The Refrigerator Part Three
Will it ever stop?
She looks so sad. Or is she sick? Dead? And what happened to her ear?
Just in case you forgot what she originally looked like:
Hello Kitty’s Face On The Refrigerator
And then Hello Kitty’s face altered again:

Oh! The things that go on only in the kitchen! Why would someone put a mustache on her? And a cigar in her mouth! (It is actually a picture of bread on that magnet). She doesn’t really have a mouth so she is not smoking, right? Thank you to Joii for letting me know about the Hello Kitty vandalism… The kitchen ain’t safe no more!

I’m going to make them! There are pdf files anyone can download from:
http://www.paperinside.com/characters/hellokitty Just print out the sheets. Some supplies you will need: cutting board, new x-acto blades and a knife, glue, something to score the folds with (I usually use a small paper clip), lots of time and patience… That’s about it! I can’t wait to start on mine! I will post pictures when I am finished!

I saw these in the Santa Monica 3rd Street store a few months ago. They are collectible blindboxed vinyl toys — so each time you purchase one (at $8 each) you get a surprise. I’m not completely sure I like that. There are ten in all, which means you would have to spend $80 plus tax to get one of each, and that’s only if you are lucky enough to get one of each. How probable is that?
Anyway, I still wouldn’t mind having a few of them on my desk at work… you know, to add to my Army of Cuteness.

How many other series will there be?

Why? Because I just felt a compelling motivation to make Joii and myself smile after lunch — and there were plenty of magnets on the fridge. On a side note: why is refrigerator spelled without a “d” and fridge spelled with a “d”?
Throw your peace signs if you are Asian!
Joii helped me shape Hello Kitty’s face from the magnets — because that’s what friends do. They encourage your obsessive behavior.
I wonder how long Hello Kitty’s face will stay on the fridge…
