Last Week’s Kitty Mail
I meant to post these over the weekend. I actually have three things I received in the mail last week that I need to post, but I only have photos of two. The first is a letter from my new pen pal Jackie! All the Hello Kitty Junkies I meet are pretty awesome (as you can see by the cute letter she sent me along with the Maki-e design stickers)… And she has beautiful handwriting (just like Lisa)… If anyone is looking for a kittitastic pen pal, check out the discussions dealing with pen pals on the Junkies’ Forum.
The second thing I got last week from the mail man woman was the latest issue of the Strawberry Newsletter, which I ordered through ayamall…

My Bday Dinner
I had my Bday dinner at my favorite place to have Japanese food — Light and Healthy. And all my close friends made it out — women I have known since we were teenage girls… Crazyness! I adore our friendship and I hope I stay friends with them forever.
I think Joy knows the truth about me, which is, no matter how old I get, I still like the same things I did when I was seven years old.
The Hello Kitty card she got me came with temporary tattoos, hehe!
Joy also got me this book, “Hello Kitty: The Remarkable Story of Sanrio and the Billion Dollar Feline Phenomenon” which I have not started reading but I cannot wait. I will probably pull quotes from the book in future posts.
And tokidoki stationery… The journal is actually too cute to write in…
Tina got me this cute knock off Hello Kitty wallet, probably from downtown…
Karla made me this adorable Hello Kitty card. She is the best third grade teacher and she had all seven of her girl students write me a message inside the card. She also informed me that 100% of the girls like Hello Kitty. I thought in my head, “Well, naturally, right?” Anyway, one of the cutest cards ever!
My Birthday Lunch
The one thing I can always look forward to on my Birthday is counting on having a yummy lunch with my kittitastic friends! We went to lunch at Sawtelle Kitchen… and I brought my new Hello Kitty plush (one of two plush dolls Amandabot got for me!)…

Friends make birthdays so much better… And I’m so happy I got to share it with them…

Happy Hello Kitty Chinese New Year!
Amandabot just came back from Taiwan a few days ago and brought me back so much Hello Kitty goodies (I will be posting very soon hopefully). Here is one of the things she brought back — seems like just in time too!
The package of red Chinese New Year themed envelopes came with five pieces… which means I had to deal with the stress of “should I keep all of them” or “should I give them to my friends?” So I asked myself one simple question — WWHKD (What Would Hello Kitty Do?)
So I distributed them amongst my friends. What good is it if I don’t share, right?
