Hello Kitty Junkie

I picked up this book and flipped through it because BAPE is undeniably dope. Nigo is an amazing designer and entrepreneur.

And what do I happen to flip to? It was not the first thing I opened up to, but I did spot this very quickly…

Why, oh why are there too many cute things at these stores!? LL.Kitty wrote a cute blog post titled japanLA will be the death of me… And I was thinking exactly the same thing, except more like Hello Kitty will be the death of us ALL who adore this kawaii Kitty-chan! Not literally, of course! [...]

I took these pictures when I was in Hollywood over the weekend. The Virgin Megastore seems to carry plenty of Hello Kitty goodies, along with other kawaii stuff like tokidoki and MUNNY vinyl toys. And best of all, nobody asked me NOT to take pictures…

I really cannot get enough of Happy Six. It is totally kawaii overload in that shop. I love the “Save Our ANIMALS” shirt Amandabot is holding up (made by Public Library). I have a plushie of the Hello Kitty dressed up as a lion!
